Late Afternoon/Evening Session on 20M Tricycle Mobile 8th November 2019.

A late afternoon/evening trip out on the bike from 16:00 to 18:00 on 20m with the new ‘West Mountain DSP CLR’ unit fitted to the tricycle.

I didn’t make any recordings of the difference that the unit makes to the receive signals but all I can say to sum up the performance is ‘stunning’… It takes a few seconds to analyse the algorithm of the noise and then eliminates it completely, this applies not just to background noise but also to steady hetrodyne interference as well.

My thanks go to Robert Todd, VK7VZ for recommending this unit to me after I heard a recording he made of me last week.

Propagation tonight was excellent into west coast USA, I had a long QSO with my good friend Ed, W7MAD who was 59+.

Many thanks to Duncan Lindsay, EA5ON for the cluster post tonight.

Also good to speak with some group members on here tonight
